Agricultural faculty of University of Mohaghegh Ardabili was established in 1978 by admission of 30 students in general agriculture field. Currently, Faculty offers 8 undergraduate programs including, Agronomy and Plant Breeding, Mechanics of Agricultural Machinery, Agricultural Mechanization, Plant protection, Soil Science, Horticultural Science, Animal Science, and Range & Watershed Management. Moreover, this Faculty presents 13 educational fields in M.Sc. Level including, Agronomy, Mechanics of Agricultural Machinery, Soil science, Entomology, Plant breeding, Animal Science (Animal Nutrition), Animal Science (Animal Breeding), Horticultural Science, Weed Science, Seed Science and Technology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Range and Science, and Agricultural Management. Entomology is also offered in PhD level. There are 45 full time faculty members (1 Professor, 37 Assistant professors, 7 Lecturers) and 11 part time faculty members (PhD Scholarships) working in 6 departments.
