Associate Professor Dr. Goudarz Sadeghi Hashjin, the chancellor of UMA, issued a message of congratulation on the eve of the traditional Nowruz, the first day of the new year in the Iranian Calendar.

He noted the brilliant performance of the university in the passing year according to the official reports and vowed for more in the new year. He reiterated that the attempt to preserve the material and spiritual rights of the students and the staff did and will top his agenda.

He also promised reforms in balancing between the inocme and the budget, streamlining administration, internal evaluation, targeted and plausible allowance payments, and a rethinking of quantity and quality of academic majors in the new year.

He wished a more prosperous year for everybody and invited the community to build up efforts to qualify the university to its eligible position in the future.
